Praying for a Christmas Miracle

I was on my way to work when I got the news that a very close family member of mine has cancer. It was discovered as pancreatic cancer and he was going for surgery to remove it. During surgery, it was then discovered that it had already spread to his liver and the doctor was saying it's not Stage 1. Meaning, it's not good. Chemo might help but the chances are not great. I was so upset I couldn't work at all and got yelled at all the way. Trust me, I'm not upset at all about that as mentally, I was not even there. First time in my life I broke down on the plane. My boss thought it was because of him yelling at me and I didn't tell him what happened. I don't blame him for that at all.

But, work aside, because it means nothing when it comes to another person's life. Especially someone close to you. It was even worse when my mom found out because it was on her birthday. I was upset for my cousin and it kills me when I knew my aunt broke down and for my mom too. My family members are all really close and this news has affected everyone.

I pray for the biggest Christmas gift ever. A miracle for my dear cousin.

Photography

I went for my very first DSLR basic class today and totally enjoyed it! I've had my SLR for about 8 months now (birthday present from my Herbie) and haven't really used it much as I couldn't get it right, got frustrated and gave up. So, I decided to sign up for the course. The instructor, Ken, he made everything sound so simple and my love for photography is back once again! Even though I have to travel an hour by train to class, it's worth it. So, you should be seeing pretty pictures soon!
